Of the many heart specialists I’ve seen over the years I feel that Dr Dhinoja, more than any of them, took the time to develop a holistic and comprehensive understanding of my conditions and from there formed the most appropriate plan to take my treatment forward and to improve my health as much as possible under the circumstances. He was clear, easy to understand and really filled me with confidence and hope that I’d have a good outcome to my procedure.

Professor Amitava Banerjee was incredibly impressive. He was very professional and very personable at the same time during every interaction. While obviously being extremely knowledgable, which in itself was very reassuring, he was a very calm, genuine and personable; both a great doctor and a great person. He was always very attentive, never rushed and focused on the patient as an individual. During a very stressful period his knowledge, experience and manner were invaluable. We wish more were like him.

I first met with Dr Earley pre 2010 (at KGH) following my initial and very infrequent AF symptoms. Dr Earley was diligent in explaining my ECG readings and blood test results; he communicated possible treatment options and associated risks with each at that time. Dr Early performed two ablation procedures in 2020 for myself and has provided an exception level of care, and demonstrated professionalism during my follow up out patient consultations. I have found Dr Earley willing to discuss any concerns raised and above all, is approachable and personable.

Nothing felt rushed. I felt like I had all the time I needed to understand what had happened and how I should move forward. Dr Melikian has such a calm and caring manner I very quickly trusted his judgment, felt confident in his abilities and trust he will take great care of me going forward. Thank you.

Reassuring and competent throughout

The outpatient consultation with Dr O’Gallagher was thorough. He had clearly taken the time to read through the many medical reports, demonstrated kindness and compassion towards my husband (who had recently had a heart attack) at a time of such heightened anxiety. He explained his findings and set out the options available so clearly. Most importantly he followed through on all the actions and seemingly fixed my husband. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others who may find themselves in a similar situation and are trying to navigate healthcare services at such a difficult time.
