He told me what to expect in the short term and explained the first year needed to pass before a judgement could be made regarding possible further interventions. He gave me a card to contact him if I needed to get back to him after the first year of healing was complete. His manner demonstrated he understood my concerns. He was confident and reassuring. I left feeling sure that I would make an good recovery.
