Mr Peter Martin

Peter Martin is a Senior Counsellor at Tabor House Treatment Centre in Navan, County Meath, Ireland, where he has been working full-time since September 2021. With extensive experience in addiction counseling and grief therapy, Peter specializes in working with individuals dealing with various forms of addiction, including sex addiction, and issues surrounding grief.

He has recently completed EMDR training with EMDR Ireland and is currently working towards accreditation with the organization. Peter also trained at the Laurel Centre in the UK in 2022, focusing on Compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder (CSBD) under the guidance of Paula Hall.

Peter's qualifications include an Associate's degree in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from Trinity College Dublin, where he studied from 2005 to 2007, earning a grade of 1.1. He has furthered his expertise with a Master of Arts in Bereavement Counseling from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and has continued his education in addiction counseling through various specialized programs.
