Mr Munish Shandilya

Dr Munish Shandilya is a Consultant Otolaryngologist with expertise in functional and cosmetic nasal surgery. He is the lead surgeon at TheNoseClinic in Dublin and also consults privately at Bon Secours Hospital Galway. His practice focuses on the assessment and treatment of nasal obstruction, sinus disease, allergies, nasal trauma and aesthetic concerns, offering procedures including functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, paediatric rhinoplasty, septoplasty and endoscopic sinus surgery.

Dr Shandilya graduated in medicine from Delhi University, India, in 1989 before moving to the UK to complete specialist training through the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland's Higher Surgical Training Scheme. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1996 and was awarded Fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2008. He also completed advanced fellowship training in rhinoplasty in Amsterdam under Professor Nolst Trenité.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Shandilya is actively involved in research, with interests including 3D facial assessment, paediatric rhinoplasty, nasal fracture management and augmentation rhinoplasty. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and serves as Ireland's National Delegate to the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.
