Dr. Michal Vrabec

Dr. Michal Vrabec, a Consultant Psychiatrist, has over 15 years of experience in the field of psychiatry. His journey began with medical training in Slovakia, following which he embarked on a career marked by diverse and extensive practice.

Throughout his career, Dr. Vrabec has honed his expertise across various mental health settings, including community and inpatient psychiatry, liaison psychiatry, eating disorder treatment, psychiatric intensive care, and services catering to individuals with intellectual disabilities. In addition to his clinical roles, he has contributed significantly to academia, serving as a Senior Lecturer at prestigious institutions such as University College Cork and University College Dublin.

Dr. Vrabec has a particular interest in managing complex psychiatric cases characterised by the presence of co-occurring mental disorders and neurodevelopmental conditions. He remains updated on cutting-edge treatment innovations, notably through his involvement in implementing neuromodulation interventions such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
