Dr. Maeve Bracken

Dr Maeve Bracken is a Chartered Behavioural Psychologist with 25 years of experience working to support the emotional, behavioural and psychological needs of adults, children and young people.

She has worked extensively within the education system, providing support for both neurotypical and neurodiverse children and adolescents. Her work focuses on helping individuals and their families to better understand behaviours and thought patterns, with the aim of enabling self-management and positive change.

Dr Bracken offers support to adolescents experiencing a wide range of challenges, including behavioural difficulties, anxiety, depression, low mood, confusion and general life concerns. She works predominantly on a one-to-one basis, in face-to-face sessions where possible, and also provides online appointments to increase accessibility for families.

Her approach emphasises collaboration with families. By addressing both behavioural and emotional issues, Dr Bracken helps children and adolescents develop the tools and strategies they need to manage challenges effectively and improve wellbeing.

Dr Bracken also works on occasion with adults who require both a listening ear and some direction to enable them to meet the demands of their busy lives.
