Ms Laoise Murphy

Ms Laoise Murphy is an accomplished physiotherapist whose experience spans private practice, elite sport and specialist rehabilitation environments. She first completed a BSc in Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy at the Institute of Technology in Carlow before continuing her studies in Physiotherapy at Northumbria University in the UK. Her clinical work focuses predominantly on musculoskeletal care, where she has developed a reputation for providing high-quality assessment, treatment and performance-focused rehabilitation.

Laoise has extensive experience working with professional athletes, most notably as a Senior Physiotherapist for elite-level professional squash players at major international events in the United States, Singapore and Egypt. She has also worked in a prestigious ski resort as a Senior Physiotherapist, delivering expert care to clients with a wide range of injuries, movement dysfunctions and biomechanical needs. Her background in high-performance sport enables her to offer tailored rehabilitation programmes that support recovery, optimise movement and enhance long-term physical resilience.

A fully qualified Pilates instructor, Laoise teaches both individual and group classes across all levels. She integrates Pilates principles into her physiotherapy practice to help clients develop strength, balance, coordination and body awareness. Her additional skills, including dry needling, exercise prescription, gait re-education and emergency response, allow her to deliver holistic, evidence-based care across diverse patient needs.
