Dr Peter Prendergast

Dr Peter Prendergast is the President of the European College of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery. He is a world renowned cosmetic doctor and surgeon, educator and author. He has authored two textbooks and trained hundreds of doctors all over the world in injectable and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures.

Dr Prendergast has pioneered many of the procedures he performs in Ireland including VASER liposuction, the one stitch thread facelift and numerous other cosmetic procedures without the need for general anaesthetic. He is regularly invited to speak at international conferences and he plays an active role in many international societies.

He began his career at University College Cork where he graduated with honours in medicine and surgery. His basic surgical training took place in Ireland, before he completed further training in cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery in Ireland and Singapore, during which time he was drawn towards the new and evolving field of aesthetic medicine.

Dr Prendergast is an expert in minimally invasive cosmetic surgery. He uses local anaesthetic for optimum safety and comfort as well as improved recovery times. He is passionate about delivering beautiful, natural-looking results to his patients.
