Mr Deepak Thomas

Mr. Deepak Thomas is a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Oral Surgeon. He holds dual qualifications in both medicine and dentistry, making him one of the few dual-qualified surgeons in Ireland. His unique expertise allows him to provide specialised oral surgical care.

Mr. Thomas is registered as a Specialist Surgeon in Ireland and has an extensive background in oral surgery. He gained valuable experience working in the Oral Surgery Department of the Dublin Dental Hospital and completed surgical rotations, which enabled him to pass the Intercollegiate Membership exams in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons.

In addition to his medical and dental qualifications, Mr. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Global Health from Trinity College Dublin and a Fellowship in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

During his career, he spent over six years working in major Oral and Facial Surgical units in the UK at Specialist Registrar level positions. This experience provided him with extensive training in various aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Mr. Thomas has also contributed to dental education as a Clinical Supervisor. He has taught hands-on minor Oral Surgery to final-year students in Dentistry at the Dublin Dental Hospital, mentoring the next generation of dentists.

His areas of expertise include the treatment of Oral Medical conditions, management of Facial and Jaw Joint Pain related to Jaw Dysfunction (TMJ Dysfunction), and various oral surgical procedures. Mr. Thomas holds Consultant status at Kingsbridge Private Hospital.
