Prof. Daragh Moneley

Professor Daragh Moneley is an experienced Consultant Vascular Surgeon currently seeing patients at Beaumont Hospital, Bon Secours Hospital Galway and Blackrock Health - Hermitage Clinic.

Prof Moneley completed his medical degree at the National University of Ireland (LRCP & SI MBBCh) in 1996. He later went on to complete fellowship training in the University Health Network at the University of Toronto, Canada from 2006 to 2008. He qualified as a specialist in general surgery with subspecialty interest in vascular surgery in 2008. He is a Fellow of the European Board of Vascular Surgery and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

Prof Moneley also holds a Diploma in Quality and Healthcare (2004), as well as a Diploma in Health Professions Education (2022).

In his current clinical practice, Prof Moneley specialises in endovascular surgery, venous disease and peripheral vascular disease.
