Mr. Ben Husien

Ben comes across as very knowledgeable and confident. In my case everything was explained as was the possibility of a 5/10% chance of maybe having to have it done a second time, which I unfortunately fell into that band. Nothing to do with Ben it has to be said, a second op was done and was successful and It's all down to Ben. I would recommend Ben most highly.

I attended Mt Ben Husien in April 2026 as an emergency case with very severe pain emanting from my neck and loss of power in m left arm. In August, guided by Mr Husien, I had an ACDF procedure which I can happily report has given almost 100% relief from pain and am progressing well toward a return to full normal activity. Mr Husien's manned was always very professional, courteus and his explanations and inrtructuions very clear and easy to understand. His office support team were also excellent, answering any queries quickly and thoroughly. I can highly recommend Mr Husien's srvices.

I attended Mr Husien's office in the Hermitage Clinic in August 2026 for a post-operative check-up. I have been a patient of his for 18 months and have always been very happy with the care and support offered by Mr Husien and his team. I was diagnosed with a Chiari malformation and underwent a foramen magnum decompression and C1 laminectomy in April 2025, and a foramen magnum decompression redo and duraplasty in June 2026. Any worries I may have had during this difficult time were assuaged by Mr Husien thanks to his calm and clear explanation of my condition and surgeries. I felt confident and was put at ease knowing that he had treated many patients with my condition. I left every appointment with a good understanding of what my condition was and how it would be treated. Mr Husien is an excellent surgeon with a warm and friendly manner, and I would highly recommend him to any patient seeking care.

Seeing that health insurance is paying for proceeded, why are before and afters are charged separately. I still have to claim of health insurance. Like eg. I payed 420 .00 for 2 hours and not every person would have that on the day. Just a thought.

Dr Ben was very clear on my condition and the issues I could face in the future. He fast tracked my surgery which I am grateful for.

I initially met with Mr Hussain because I was experiencing significant pain going down my leg. After assessing me, he recommended a microdiscectomy, which he subsequently performed. The surgery has been very successful and I’m delighted with the outcome. Throughout the whole process, Mr Hussain explained everything very clearly and was always kind, reassuring and understanding. I saw him again yesterday for my seven week post-surgery check-up and, once again, felt very well looked after. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mr Hussain as a neurosurgeon and am very grateful for the care I received.

On my first meeting with Mr Husien he was very welcoming. He showed me and explained the MRI's that I had and explained the operation in plain English so I understood everything about it. My follow up appointment was as positive as my first and he very quickly assured me that everything went well. My whole experience with Mr Husien and staff were very positive
