About Mrs Anisha Bansda-Chauhan

Anisha Bansda-Chauhan is a Chartered Physiotherapist and founder of Bansda Physiotherapy in Dublin, Ireland. She provides evidence-based, patient-centred physiotherapy with a strong focus on helping people recover from pain, injury, and movement dysfunction so they can return to daily life, work, exercise, and sport with confidence.

With over 10 years of clinical experience, Anisha treats a wide range of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, sports, spinal, and women’s health conditions. She graduated from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2014 and has worked extensively in private practice rehabilitation.

Anisha has a particular interest in sports injuries, neck and back pain, orthopaedic rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, women’s pelvic health, and chronic pain management. She previously served as Head Physiotherapist for the Raiders Rugby Club during the 2017 Gold Cup, where she managed injury prevention, acute injury care, rehabilitation, and return-to-play treatment for athletes.

She is committed to ongoing professional development and has completed extensive postgraduate training in dry needling, spinal and peripheral manipulation, acute and chronic pain management, and advanced taping techniques including dynamic taping, K-taping, and rigid strapping. She has also undertaken specialised training in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine rehabilitation, as well as pelvic floor dysfunction and women’s health physiotherapy.

Her treatment approach combines hands-on physiotherapy, movement assessment, exercise rehabilitation, education, and advanced electrotherapy modalities including shockwave therapy, deep oscillation, ultrasound, and interferential therapy. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual patient’s needs and goals to support long-term recovery and prevent recurrence of injury.

Patients value Anisha’s warm, supportive, and thorough approach, as well as her commitment to delivering high-quality care in a professional and welcoming environment.
