Ms Anisha Bansda

Ms Anisha Bansda is a skilled physiotherapist and the founder and senior clinician at Bansda Physiotherapy, where she provides comprehensive, patient-focused care. She graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2014 and has since built extensive expertise across a range of clinical areas.

Anisha has a strong background in sports physiotherapy, having previously served as Head Physiotherapist for the Raiders Rugby Club during the 2018 Gold Cup. Her clinical interests include sports injuries, orthopaedics, paediatrics, women’s health, and rehabilitation, allowing her to treat a diverse patient population with tailored treatment plans.

Committed to ongoing professional development, she has completed numerous postgraduate qualifications, including dry needling, acute and chronic pain management, spinal and peripheral manipulation, and advanced taping techniques such as dynamic, K-taping, and rigid strapping. She also has specialised training in managing cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine conditions, as well as pelvic floor dysfunction in women.

In her practice, Anisha integrates a range of advanced electrotherapy modalities. These include shockwave therapy, deep oscillation, ultrasound, and interferential treatments, to support recovery and optimise patient outcomes, as well as utilising traditional treatment methods such as massage, joint mobilisation and exercise prescription.
