About Ms Áine Rowe

Ms Áine Rowe is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated from Trinity College Dublin and has a diverse background spanning hospital, private practice, and elite sports environments.

Áine began her career within the public hospital system, completing core rotations in orthopaedics, care of the elderly, cardiorespiratory, and COVID-19 outpatient rehabilitation. This experience provided her with a strong clinical foundation and a comprehensive understanding of patient care across a variety of settings.

She later transitioned into private practice, where she began specialising in women’s health physiotherapy, offering internal pelvic exams and prenatal Pilates. Her approach integrates manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and patient education to support women through all stages of life, from pregnancy to postpartum recovery.

Áine has also developed significant experience in sports physiotherapy, particularly in rugby union. She has worked with the Leinster Senior Women’s Team for three seasons and currently serves as Club Physiotherapist for Railway Union RFC. In addition, she has been part of Touch Rugby Ireland’s medical team for several years, progressing from junior physiotherapist to Head Physiotherapist for Team Ireland at the Touch Rugby World Cup in Nottingham and the Junior European Championships in Vichy.

Áine combines her expertise in women’s health and sports rehabilitation to deliver tailored, evidence-based treatment focused on restoring movement, improving performance, and promoting long-term wellbeing.

I've felt listened to and encouraged every step of the way. Highly recommend to any new mom looking for expert and compassionate physio support.

Had a VALD test and it was really helpful that the Physio walked me through what the test was, what it was tracking, made sure I was always in view of the results, and answered all questions I had without judgement

I have been a client of Aine's over the last two years and I would highly recommend her. I ran my first half marathon last April and Aine helped get me to the start line when I hurt my foot a few weeks before the race. Aine also helped me recently with a back issue. She introduced me to some adapted exercises that really helped me with mobility, strength and confidence! I love that Aine doesn't rule out running immediately - she will always listen and advise correctly but is always keen to get you back running as quickly as it is safe to do so. She's also very quick to respond to email queries which I found very helpful when I was worrying about my back!
