Monaghan + Morrow provides minimally invasive, no-scalpel vasectomy procedures at its Swords clinic, located within Salus Medical Clinic on Main Street in Swords, Ireland. All vasectomy procedures are carried out by Dr Stephen Monaghan, an experienced vasectomy surgeon and vasectomy trainer with more than 1,500 procedures completed. The clinic uses a scalpel-free electrocautery technique to divide and seal the vas deferens without cutting or stitching, and procedures are performed under local anaesthetic.
The clinic offers permanent male sterilisation using the no-scalpel method, which is considered the current gold-standard technique. The procedure is minimally invasive, avoids the need for general anaesthesia or overnight admission, and allows for faster recovery compared with traditional open methods. Sexual function, ejaculation and testosterone levels remain unchanged, as the procedure solely prevents sperm from entering the semen. Detailed information on the process, recovery and risks is provided, with follow-up support available when needed.
Alongside the Swords location, Monaghan + Morrow also operates a clinic at Malone Medical Chambers in Belfast. Both locations accommodate consultation-only appointments as well as streamlined single-visit vasectomy appointments, with no GP referral required.

From my first to last contact with Gillian and Stephen I was so impressed by there professionalism and tact. The procedure was explained clearly and carried out with no pain or discomfort whatsoever.
