Dr Zaher Mikwar

Dr. Zaher Mikwar is a distinguished Consultant General Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist at King Abdulaziz Medical City (KAMC) in Jeddah. He currently serves as the Section Head of Surgical Oncology, where he leads a specialized team in the management of complex malignancies. Dr. Mikwar is highly recognized for his expertise in delivering comprehensive cancer care, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to ensure that each patient receives a treatment plan tailored to their specific medical needs and overall quality of life.

His clinical practice focuses on a broad range of surgical oncology procedures with a primary specialization in breast cancer management, including mastectomies and reconstruction strategies. Additionally, Dr. Mikwar is an expert in colorectal surgery for the treatment of colon and rectal cancers. His surgical proficiency also extends to gastrointestinal oncology—covering pathologies of the stomach, liver, and gallbladder—as well as endocrine surgery for thyroid and adrenal conditions.
