Dr Yomna Farag

Dr Yomna Farag is a highly qualified Paediatric Rheumatologist dedicated to the diagnosis and management of rheumatic and inflammatory diseases in children and adolescents. She possesses extensive experience in handling complex autoimmune conditions, ensuring that young patients receive tailored care to manage symptoms and improve their quality of life. Her approach combines clinical expertise with a compassionate understanding of the unique needs of children facing chronic health challenges.

She obtained her Medical Doctorate (MD) and Master’s degree in Paediatrics and Paediatric Rheumatology from Cairo University in Egypt, where she also completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBCH). Dr Farag is an active member of the professional medical community, holding memberships with the Egyptian Society of Rheumatology (ESR), the African Society for Paediatric Rheumatology, and the Arab League for Paediatric Rheumatology.

Her clinical practice encompasses a wide range of conditions, including Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Juvenile Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, and Juvenile Dermatomyositis. She is also skilled in managing vasculitis in children, such as Kawasaki disease and Henoch-Schönlein purpura, as well as periodic fever syndromes like Familial Mediterranean Fever. Furthermore, Dr Farag is experienced in administering advanced biological treatments to effectively control disease activity.
