Dr Tash Adel is a highly experienced Senior Consultant in Cardiac Surgery, dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients with complex heart conditions. He is recognised for his expertise in adult cardiac surgery, with a focus on high-risk procedures, minimally invasive techniques, and advanced heart failure surgery. Dr Adel has a distinguished background in managing a wide spectrum of heart diseases. His proficiency extends to complex mitral and aortic valve repairs, often performed with minimal access approaches. He has also been instrumental in establishing and developing advanced cardiac services, including heart transplant and heart failure device therapies. His leadership roles have involved overseeing cardiac centres and contributing to the national strategy for heart health.

Dr Adel received his medical degree (MBBS) from King Saud University in 1997. He completed his General Surgery residency at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, followed by further specialisation in Cardiac Surgery. He undertook fellowships in Advanced Adult Cardiac Surgery and Advanced Heart Failure Surgery at St. Paul's Hospital, University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada.
