Dr Talal Mardaed

Dr Talal Mardaed is a respected Consultant Urologist and Andrologist, recognised for his significant contributions to men's health, particularly in the areas of infertility and sexual dysfunction. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive and patient-focused care, utilising advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of urological and andrological conditions. Dr Mardaed earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah in 1984. He later obtained his PhD in Urology and Nephrology from the University of Düsseldorf, Germany. He further specialised with a fellowship in male infertility and microscopic surgery from the University of Brussels, Belgium, and a fellowship in andrology from the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands.

He is a member of several prestigious professional organisations, including the European Association of Urology, the American Urological Association, and the Saudi Urological Association. He has also served as the President of the Middle East Society for Sexual Health. Dr Mardaed is noted for his pioneering work in the region, including being the first to perform specific microscopic procedures for sperm retrieval.
