Dr Saeed Alshomimi is a Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon, with a specialisation in upper gastrointestinal and gastric tumour surgery. He is committed to providing high-quality care, utilising the latest medical technologies and surgical techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients. Dr Alshomimi has a distinguished record of pioneering complex surgical procedures. He led the medical team that performed a world-first operation to repair a severe oesophageal tear. Furthermore, he has introduced advanced procedures to the region, including the LINX procedure, which involves implanting a magnetic device to treat acid reflux, a technique available in only a few advanced international centres.

His international experience includes training in laparoscopic and robotic surgery for the digestive system at Yonsei University in South Korea.
