Dr Riyad Almousa

Dr Riyad Almousa is a highly qualified Consultant Urologist and the Section Head of Neurourology. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of complex urinary tract disorders, with a specific focus on voiding dysfunction, neurogenic bladder, and pelvic floor disorders. His clinical practice encompasses the treatment of urinary incontinence in both adults and paediatrics, offering advanced solutions for overactive bladder and prostate issues. He is also an expert in performing urodynamic studies to accurately assess bladder function.

His extensive medical education began with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from King Faisal University. He subsequently pursued advanced postgraduate training, achieving both the Saudi Board and the European Board in Urology. Furthering his sub-specialist expertise, Dr Almousa completed a prestigious Fellowship in Neuro-Urology at the University of Toronto in Canada. Additionally, he holds a Master’s degree in Executive Medical Health Administration from the University of Alabama, demonstrating his commitment to healthcare leadership.

Dr Almousa is an active figure in the global urology community, holding memberships with the European Association of Urology, the International Continence Society, and the International NeuroUrology Society. He serves as the General Secretary of the Pan Arab Continence Society. His treatment portfolio includes specialised procedures such as intravesical Botox injections and neuromodulation, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care for functional urological conditions.
