Dr Omar Ashour

Dr Omar Ashour is a dedicated Consultant Physician and Nephrologist who provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of kidney-related conditions. He is committed to delivering a high standard of medical assessment and treatment, taking a thorough and patient-focused approach to managing both acute and chronic illnesses affecting the kidneys.

Dr Ashour has a particular focus on hypertension and its impact on kidney health, offering expert management for patients with high blood pressure. He also specialises in providing and managing home dialysis options, including peritoneal and haemodialysis, empowering patients to manage their treatment in a comfortable and familiar environment. His approach is centred on creating personalised care plans that support the long-term health and well-being of his patients.

He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from King Abdulaziz University in 2012. Dr Ashour's postgraduate training includes the Saudi Board of Internal Medicine and two Canadian Fellowships in Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Hypertension, as well as in Home Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis. He is an Affiliate Member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a Member of the Saudi Society of Internal Medicine.
