Dr Mohammed Agdi

Dr Mohammed Agdi is a respected Consultant in reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive technology. He is dedicated to helping couples achieve their goal of becoming parents, offering tailored treatment plans to meet the individual physical and emotional needs of each patient. His approach is centred on providing patient-focused, safe, and innovative reproductive care.

Dr Agdi is recognised for his significant contributions to the field of fertility treatment. He introduced Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) for Preimplantation Genetic Testing on blastocyst stage embryos in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, he was the first IVF physician in the Kingdom to develop and use the vitrification programme for day 5 human embryos. His work has been instrumental in advancing the success rates of IVF programmes.

He obtained his medical degree from King Saud University and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynaecology at King Abdulaziz Medical City, where he earned the Saudi Board certification. Dr Agdi then pursued two post-doctoral fellowships at McGill University in Canada, specialising in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and advanced gynaecologic endoscopic surgery. He has published scientific research in international journals and received the Eric James Molson Award from McGill University for his research.
