Dr Majida Saadon

Dr. Majida Saadon is an experienced neurologist with 7 years of clinical experience, currently practising at Saudi German Hospital in Hail, Saudi Arabia. She holds a Professional Doctorate in Neurology through the Egyptian Fellowship of Neurology and has developed broad expertise across general and specialist neurological care through clinical training and practice in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Yemen.

Her clinical interests include stroke, epilepsy, migraine and other headache disorders, multiple sclerosis and demyelinating diseases, Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, peripheral neuropathy, dementia, dizziness and vertigo. She also has a particular interest in rare and complex neuroimmunological conditions, including autoimmune encephalitis, Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD), and MOG antibody-associated disease (MOGAD).

Dr. Bin Saadon evaluates patients presenting with a wide range of neurological symptoms, including seizures, headache, dizziness, numbness and tingling, limb weakness, memory problems, tremor, walking difficulties, facial weakness, and facial pain. Her procedural experience includes Botulinum toxin injections for migraine, electroencephalography (EEG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), and visual evoked potentials (VEP).

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bin Saadon has a strong academic background. She has served as a Faculty Lecturer at the College of Medicine & Health Sciences, Al-Arab University, and as a Teaching Assistant at Hadhramout University College of Medicine and Health Sciences. She continues to actively update her knowledge through international neurological education programmes, conferences, and workshops focusing on stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, EEG, movement disorders, neuroimaging, and rare neurological disease.

She graduated first in her medical school class with honours. She has also contributed to medical education and public health through authorship of a guidebook on the management of COVID-19 cases in Hadramout, Yemen.Dr. Bin Saadon regularly participates in advanced international education in neurology. Her recent training has covered stroke prevention, neonatal and refractory epilepsy, EEG interpretation, Moyamoya disease, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease imaging, neurointervention, neuromuscular disorders, encephalitis, and post-stroke epilepsy through organisations including the World Stroke Organization, International League Against Epilepsy, MENASO, EURO-NMD, and other international medical education bodies.

She also holds current Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)certifications through the Saudi Heart Association.
