Dr Maher Kurdi

Dr Maher Kurdi is a Consultant and Associate Professor of Neuropathology. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, offering diagnostic expertise and a reassuring approach to complex medical issues.

His clinical practice is focused on the diagnosis and understanding of various neurological disorders. Dr Kurdi has a particular interest in neuro-oncology, neuromuscular diseases, and neurodegenerative diseases. He is committed to applying detailed pathological analysis to help in the management of his patients' conditions.

In addition to his clinical duties, Dr Kurdi is actively involved in academia and research as a Physician-Scientist. He contributes to the education of future medical professionals and engages in research that aims to advance the understanding of neuropathology, including the study of brain tumours.

Dr Kurdi holds several professional qualifications, including an MD. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath).
