Dr Maher Cattan

Dr Maan Kattan is a respected Consultant in Anaesthesiology and Pain Management. He provides dedicated care to his patients, focusing on a comprehensive approach to managing both acute and chronic pain. Dr Kattan is committed to delivering professional and reassuring support to individuals seeking relief from a wide range of pain conditions.

His clinical practice encompasses various aspects of anaesthesiology and interventional pain management. He has a particular interest in thoracic anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia, and the management of chronic pain, including cancer-related and neuropathic pain. Dr Kattan utilises a patient-centred approach to develop tailored treatment plans.

Dr Kattan earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from King Abdulaziz University. He later completed his anaesthesia residency and obtained a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada through the University of Ottawa. He has also undertaken clinical fellowships in chronic pain and regional anaesthesia, thoracic anaesthesia, and cancer and research pain from the University of Ottawa and Western University in Canada. He is a member of the Saudi Society of Anaesthesia and the Saudi Pain Society.
