Dr Khalil Hetou

Dr. Khalil Hetou is a Consultant Urologic Oncologist with international training and extensive experience in robotic and minimally invasive urologic surgery. His clinical practice centered on the diagnosis and treatmetn of prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancers, while also provideing comprehensive care for benign conditions.

Dr. hetou currently practices at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare in Saudi Arabia. He previously held a consultant position at Klinikum Bremen Mitte in Germany and completed a prestigeous Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) Fellowship at the University of Western Ontario, Canada, one of Canada's leading uro-oncology programs.

He graduated from the University of Jordan School of Medicine in 2008 and became board certified by both the European Board of Urology (FEBU) and the German Board of Urology before pursuing advanced fellowship training in uro-oncology.

Dr. Hetou has performed hundreds of robotic urological procedures, with a particular focus on robotic radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer. His practice also includes robotic partial and radical nephrectomy, adrenal surgery and complex open oncological surgery and MRI-targeted prostate biopsy.

His clinical philosophy combines evidence-based medicine with individualized patient care, ensuring that every treatment plan is tailored to the patient's disease, overall health, and personal goals. He has special interest in integrating emerging technologies- including MRI-guided diagnostics, genomic testing, and focal therapy- into modern prostate cancer care.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Hetou is actively involved in medical education, multidisciplenary cancer care, quality improvement and the development of comprehensive prostate cancer programs. He is commited to delivering world-class oncological outcomes while preserving quality of life through meticulous surgical techniques and patient-centered care.
