Dr Agab earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Khartoum in 1989. He obtained his Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP) in 1998. Furthermore, he is a Diplomate of the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology in the USA, a qualification he achieved in 2005. He is a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the European Association of Heart Failure.
