Dr Hesham Allam

Dr. Hesham Allam is a highly experienced Cardiology Consultant and Head of the Cardiology Department at Saudi German Hospital – Jeddah, with 35 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases.

He has extensive expertise in interventional and non-invasive cardiology, including coronary angiography, angioplasty with stent placement, balloon angioplasty, balloon valvuloplasty, pericardiocentesis, temporary cardiac pacing, echocardiography, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).

Dr. Allam manages a wide range of cardiac conditions, including heart attack, atherosclerosis, ischemic heart disease, coarctation of the aorta, congenital heart defects, and congenital pulmonary stenosis. His long-standing clinical experience allows him to provide comprehensive, evidence-based cardiac care for both complex and routine cardiovascular cases.

Alongside his clinical leadership, Dr. Allam is an active member of several leading professional societies, including the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), Egyptian Society of Cardiology (EgSC), Saudi Heart Association (SHA), and Saudi Arabian Cardiac Intervention Society (SACIS). His professional journey includes experience with major healthcare institutions such as the National Heart Institute in Egypt, King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre – Jeddah, and El Safa Hospital in Egypt.

He communicates fluently in Arabic and English, supporting clear patient communication and effective collaboration within multidisciplinary cardiac care teams.
