Dr Hatim Alshareef

Dr Hatim Alshareef is a highly qualified Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a focus on joint replacement, sports injuries, and arthroscopic surgery. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Dr Alshareef employs both surgical and non-surgical techniques to alleviate pain and restore function, ensuring patients receive treatment tailored to their individual needs. His approach is centred on utilising advanced and evidence-based medical practices to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients.

Dr Alshareef obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and General Surgery from Umm Al-Qura University in Saudi Arabia. He holds the Saudi Board in Orthopaedic and Fracture Surgery. Pursuing advanced international training, he completed a Canadian Fellowship in Arthroplasty and Lower Limb Reconstruction at the University of Toronto and an Austrian Fellowship in Sports Injuries and Arthroscopic Surgery from the Medical University of Vienna. He also holds a FIFA Diploma in Sports Medicine.

He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Saudi Council for Health Specialties. Dr Alshareef's expertise covers a broad spectrum of orthopaedic care, from treating advanced osteoarthritis with robotic-assisted joint replacement to managing sports-related ligament tears. He also provides non-operative treatments, including plasma and lubricating injections for joints, to help manage symptoms and improve mobility.
