Dr Ghassan Watfa

Dr Ghassan Watfa is a Consultant Geriatrician dedicated to providing a high standard of care for older adults. He focuses on managing complex and chronic health conditions associated with the ageing process. Dr Watfa is committed to a comprehensive and patient-centred approach, ensuring that individuals receive thorough clinical consultations and evaluations to support their health and wellbeing.

Dr Watfa earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Aleppo. He then completed extensive postgraduate training in France, obtaining a Diploma in Internal Medicine and a PhD in Clinical Research from the University of Nancy. He also holds a Master's degree in Geriatrics and the Biology of Ageing from the University of Paris VII. Furthermore, he is board certified in Geriatric Medicine in both France and Luxembourg.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Watfa is actively involved in medical research and education. He has a significant interest in areas such as cognitive decline, hypertension in the elderly, and home healthcare. He contributes to the training of other healthcare professionals and is a member of several national and international medical societies, including the French Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics and the Saudi Geriatrics Society.
