Dr Esam Batayyah

Dr Esam Batayyah is a distinguished Consultant specialising in bariatric, advanced minimally invasive, and robotic surgery. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with a range of complex conditions, including hernias and gallbladder-related disorders. Dr Batayyah is proficient in performing intricate procedures using the latest minimally invasive techniques, focusing on patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Dr Batayyah earned his Bachelor of Medicine from King Khalid University before achieving both the Saudi and Arab Board certifications in General Surgery. His pursuit of specialised knowledge led him to complete a prestigious fellowship in bariatric surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in the USA and further training in robotic surgery at IRCAD in France. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
