Dr. Emad Elfarra – Section Head and Consultant Orthodontist

Dr. Emad Elfarra is a highly experienced Consultant Orthodontist and Section Head at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh, with more than two decades of specialist experience in orthodontics, complex craniofacial cases, and multidisciplinary dental care.

His clinical expertise includes the management and treatment of cleft palate cases, working closely with oral and maxillofacial surgery teams to support patients requiring advanced orthodontic and surgical planning. His work involves complex treatment approaches such as distraction osteogenesis and orthognathic surgery, with a focus on improving both function and facial harmony.

Since joining King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in 2002, Dr. Elfarra has held several leadership roles, including Head of the Cleft Palate Team, Head of the Outreach Program, Deputy Chairman of the Orthognathic Team, and Head of the Orthodontic Residency Program at the hospital.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Elfarra has made strong contributions to postgraduate education and clinical supervision for more than 10 years. He serves as a clinical instructor in the Saudi Board of Orthodontics, supervising residents, leading literature review sessions, and contributing to scientific, examination, and resident selection committees.

His career also includes experience with Saudi Aramco and advanced orthodontic residency training at the University of Pennsylvania, supported by earlier residency training in the United States. Dr. Elfarra brings together clinical excellence, academic leadership, and deep experience in complex orthodontic care.
