Dr Amer holds a Doctorate (PhD) in Cardiovascular Medicine from Cairo University. He also completed a Cardiology Fellowship and undertook his residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Cairo Faculty of Medicine University Hospital. He earned his initial medical degree in surgery and internal medicine from Cairo University.
