Dr Ayman Refaat

Dr Ayman Refaat is a distinguished Professor and Consultant of General and Vascular Surgery. He is dedicated to providing his patients with comprehensive and compassionate care, utilising a patient-centred approach to diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions. His focus is on delivering effective treatments and ensuring patient comfort and understanding throughout their healthcare journey.

His clinical practice is centred on the management of vascular diseases. He has a particular interest in treating diabetic foot complications, addressing both acute and chronic arterial insufficiency, and managing varicose veins through various modern techniques. Furthermore, he is skilled in creating and maintaining vascular access for patients requiring renal dialysis, helping to improve their quality of life.

Dr Refaat holds a PhD in General and Vascular Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, Kasr El-Ainy. He also obtained a Master's degree in Surgery. His international training includes a fellowship at the University of Betsi Cadwaladr in Wales, United Kingdom, and a fellowship at the University of Bergisch-Gladbach in Cologne, Germany, further enhancing his specialised skills and knowledge.
