Dr Ahmed Binmahfooz

Dr Ahmed Binmahfooz is a dedicated Consultant specialising in Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. He provides compassionate and evidence-based care to his patients, focusing on creating a supportive environment to address a wide range of mental health concerns. His approach is centred on understanding each patient's unique circumstances to develop tailored and effective treatment plans.

Dr Binmahfooz is committed to the holistic well-being of his patients. He has a particular professional interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and its application in treating various psychiatric conditions. He works collaboratively with individuals to help them develop coping strategies and build resilience, empowering them on their path to recovery and improved mental health.

He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2006. He later pursued further specialisation in France, earning a French Board in Psychiatry in 2012 and a University Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in 2014, both from the University of Paris Diderot. He also completed a French Fellowship in Addiction at the same university in 2016.
