Dr Ahmed Abdulkarim

Dr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelkarim is a Senior Vascular Surgery Specialist. He is dedicated to providing care for patients with a range of vascular conditions, including the treatment of vascular injuries, diabetic foot infections and wounds, and chronic arterial occlusions. Dr Abdelkarim is committed to delivering professional and reassuring care to his patients, ensuring they are well-informed throughout their treatment journey.

His clinical practice includes surgical and catheter-based treatments for various vascular issues. He addresses conditions such as aortic aneurysms, dissections, and blockages, as well as treating varicose vein syndrome and pelvic congestion. Furthermore, he is proficient in procedures like the installation of chemotherapy catheters (Port-a-Cath) and both temporary and permanent dialysis catheters.

Dr Abdelkarim graduated from the Faculty of Human Medicine at Zagazig University, Egypt, in 2007. He went on to earn his Master's degree in General Surgery in 2013, followed by a PhD in Vascular Surgery and Peripheral Catheterisation in 2020 from the same university. He is a member of the Egyptian Society of Vascular Surgical Sciences and has completed fellowships in Peripheral Interventional Catheterisation at Kiel University, Germany, and Advanced Interventional Catheter Aortic Surgery at the University of Cologne, Germany.
