Dr Abdullah Albarrak

Dr Abdullah Albarrak is a Consultant in General Surgery, with a particular focus on advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for his patients, utilising modern surgical techniques to address a range of conditions. Dr Albarrak's approach is centred on patient wellbeing and achieving positive surgical outcomes.

His clinical interests include minimally invasive procedures and trauma and acute care surgery. He is committed to the ongoing advancement of surgical practices and contributes to the field through his work and research.

Dr Albarrak obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from King Khalid University in 2011. He completed the Saudi Board in General Surgery and pursued further specialisation with Canadian fellowships in Trauma and Critical Care Surgery, and Bariatric and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of British Columbia. He also holds a Master's degree in Health Professions Education from Maastricht University.

He is a member of several professional organisations, including the Saudi Arabian Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
