Later, he served as an Orthopaedic and Spine Surgery Specialist at Badr Specialized Hospital in Egypt before relocating to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In recent years, he has been in charge of the Orthopaedic and Spine Emergency Department at Medcare Orthopaedics and Spine Hospital in Dubai.

Dr. Ghanem's areas of specialisation cover a wide range of orthopaedic conditions and treatments. He is proficient in managing orthopaedic trauma and sports injuries, addressing spine degenerative diseases, such as low back pain and neck pain, and performing knee and shoulder arthroscopic surgeries. He is also skilled in treating fractures, ligament tears, muscle injuries, and degenerative conditions like osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.
