Dr Imtiaz Khan is a General Practitioner with extensive experience in the UAE. He is based at Aster Cedars Hospital where he specialises in emergency medicine and all medical emergencies that present at the primary care level. He is experienced in trauma, exacerbation of illnesses requiring emergency intervention, and the diagnosis, management, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Dr. Khan also has expertise in basic surgery, immunisation, vaccination, infection, general checkups, general illnesses, and chronic illnesses. He takes a patient-centric approach to care and focuses particularly on the psychosocial well-being of his patients and its co-related impact on mental and physical well-being.

Dr Khan gained his medical qualifications from Gulf Medical University in 2016 before becoming a trainee at Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi. After interning at Umm Al Quwain General Hospital, he then worked as a general practitioner at Karama Medical Centre for two years before joining Aster Cedars Hospital. Dr. Khan has certification in Basic Life Support as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He speaks a variety of languages including Urdu, Hindi, and Spanish which allows him to communicate effectively with patients from different backgrounds.
