Ms. Gopika Govindan, a seasoned Clinical Psychologist licensed by the Dubai Health Authority, offers her expertise at LifeWorks Dubai through online appointments from her base in Cleveland, USA. With extensive training in the UK, India, and the UAE, including roles as Clinical Director for the Ghobash group of clinics and Senior Clinical Psychologist at Novomed Hospitals, Ms. Govindan brings a wealth of experience to her practice.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bharathiar University, India, and completed further education in the UK, obtaining a Master’s degree in Clinical and Abnormal Psychology from Swansea University and an MPhil in Clinical Psychology from Kasturba Medical College, India. Additionally, she holds certifications in Neuro-Cognitive training from BrainRx, USA, and is trained in Dance Movement Therapy (UK) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (USA).

Ms. Govindan's career began in 2009 with the NHS in the UK, where she provided support to individuals facing psychological difficulties. She also volunteered for the Dubai Health Authority's mental health project during the COVID-19 pandemic.
