Dr. Gaby Khayata is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Dubai Healthcare City. He completed his medical degree at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon in 1989 & his Obstetrics & Gynecology specialty diploma in 1993 at the same university. He is an Associate Member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, as well as a Member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada.

He has been practicing in the UAE since 1996 with 9 years in Tawam Hospital, Al Ain & 17 years as a Consultant with Dr. Sulaiman al Habib Medical Group, Dubai. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Sharjah.

With 34 years of experience, Dr. Khayata has expertise in all areas of general obstetrics and gynecology and performs a range of procedures, including the following:

• Normal vaginal delivery including VBAC (Vaginal birth after C/section)
• Instrumental delivery (vacuum assisted & Kiwi)
• Cesarean section (including complicated repeat C/sections)
• Diagnostic & operative hysteroscopy for polyps, fibroids & uterine septums
• Open multiple Myomectomies
• Controlled ovarian stimulation
• Intrauterine insemination
• Colposcopy & treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN)
• Genital wart ablation
• Cryotherapy
• Vaginal tightening and perineorrhaphy
• Minilaparotomy for benign gynecologic diseases

He has special interests in both low and high-risk pregnancies (e.g., pregnancy with diabetes, hypertension and multiple pregnancies), diagnosis and treatment of HPV-related indications, infertility, recurrent miscarriages, medical treatment of ectopic pregnancies, PCOS and laser vaginal rejuvenation.
