Dr Farivar Bagheri is an experienced Specialty Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Ankle, Knee and Shoulder Surgery at Emirates Specialty Hospital DHCC. He is also an Assistant Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed his medical degree at Islamic Azad University, Iran in 2008 and became certified as a specialist in orthopaedic surgery following his residency training at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Iran in 2012.

Dr Bagheri is known by his patients and colleagues for his exceptional clinical and teamwork skills, as well as his ethical approach and genuine concern for patient safety and well-being. His dedication to his profession is evident through his past roles as the head of an academic medical hospital and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) in Iran, where he received a certification of merit.

As a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Bagheri possesses a wide range of credentials and certifications in advanced knee arthroscopy, total knee arthroplasty, and revision total knee arthroplasty from reputable institutions around the world. He also has clinical expertise in ligament injuries reconstruction, meniscal tear repair, rotator cuff repair, ankle torsion treatment, foot surgery and osteotomy of lower limbs. He has interests in sports injury surgical management, trauma cases, spinal pain and deformity management and geriatric orthopaedic care.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Bagheri holds memberships with professional organisations including the International Association for Orthopedics (IAO) and the International Society for Knowledge for Surgeons on Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty Techniques (ISKAST).
