Dr. Chittaranjan Purandare is a leading figure in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with training in India and Ireland. As a senior consultant at three Mumbai hospitals, he excels in Gyne-oncology surgeries, vaginal procedures, and high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Purandare, currently the Dean of The Indian College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, is also the Emeritus Editor for the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of India.

With 40 years of teaching experience, he has risen to the position of Unit Head in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
