Mr Blair Agero, Senior Hand Therapist, is based in Dubai. He is an experienced Orthopedic Hand Therapist and Occupational Therapist. He currently holds his Hand Therapy Clinic in Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

He has 24 years of cumulative experience in Occupational and Hand Therapy. He spent 11 years as a Paediatric Early Intervention Occupational Therapy Specialist before embarking on his current specialization as a Qualified Hand Therapist. In the last 12 years and running, he has been focused on the treatment of Orthopedic and Musculoskeletal disorders and conditions.

Mr Agero holds Post-Graduate Diploma in Specialization in Hand Therapy from the International University of Andalucia, Spain (2022) and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Hand Therapy from the University of Derby, UK (2014) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (1999).

He also holds a Diploma in Sports Rehabilitation and has certificates in Basic and Advanced Clinical Dry Needling and Dynamic Dry Cupping Therapy.

He has received certified training for adjunct treatments and current practices related to Hand Therapy and Occupational Therapy from Andalucia, Finland, Dubai, London and Manila.

He is passionate about advancing the Hand Therapy practice in Dubai and the UAE. He is currently the official representative of the UAE to the International Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy (IFSHT).

He has presented his work and shared his clinical approach in Hand Therapy as a speaker and presenter in international conferences and congresses in UAE (2022, 2021), Austria (2021) and Germany (2019). He has also been a guest speaker in PT and OT Universities in Istanbul, Turkey and in Cebu, Philippines.

He is a member of the Emirates Medical Association and the Emirates Hand Surgery Society.
