Dr. Basel Imam is an esteemed American board certified physician with a decade of experience in high volume Obstetrics and Gynaecology practices and tertiary hospitals across the United States of America. He takes great pride in providing patient-focused and evidence-based care to women of all ages.

In Chicago, he was running a highly successful minimally-invasive complex gynaecology practice with a large referral base. Dr Imam was the recipient of the AAGL Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynaecology - an accolade which is testament to his skill and expertise in this field. His robotic and laparoscopic case volume was the highest in the hospital.

On top of being board-certified Minimally invasive gynecologist, Dr. Imam has a fellowship training in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, which is a rare subspecialty of Gynecology that provides specialized care to young and adolescent girls.

Dr Imam provides comprehensive care during pregnancy and his patients have been the recipients of excellent outcomes, including low rates of severe vaginal lacerations, infections and caesarean sections. He also advocates for vaginal delivery after caesarean section (VBAC), when clinically appropriate. Dr Imam completed his Medical Degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
