Dr Azam Bader khan: Incredible Orthopaedic Surgeon in UAE I have been suffering with Osteoarthritis for a few years. My condition had deteriorated to an extent where I was unable to walk for more than 5-10 minutes without the need to sit down. I started by doing some research on orthopaedic doctors in UAE and consulted a few doctors, the consensus was that I needed to do total knee replacement surgery. My preference was to get the surgery done in my home country, but unfortunately, I couldn’t travel due to the pandemic. That’s when I came across a lecture by Dr Azam on knee health and based on a recommendation from a friend, started communicating with him. I was in touch with Doctor Azam for almost 8-9 months on and off, clarifying my questions. Dr Azam always demonstrated patience and answered all the questions one may have with a smile. He is very pragmatic in his approach and completely put me at ease with regards to having my surgery in Dubai. Right from the consultation to discussing the surgery plan and aftercare, I knew I was in safe hands. He ensured that not only did my surgery go very well, but he went above and beyond to ensure that I proper after care. This included multiple visits to the hospital early morning and late night after he was done with his working day to ensure that I was getting proper post operative care. He did everything he could to help alleviate my pain and stayed in constant touch with my family and myself. Having a doctor who is excellent at what he does but also demonstrates authenticity and patience to explain each and every detail of the surgery and answer the questions a patient may have is a rare mix to find. Doctor Azam's genuine & personal relationship building approach warmed my families and my heart and made the recovery easier. It’s been 3 months since my surgery and he still messages to check-in occasionally to ensure my physiotherapy sessions went well and I am feeling well. Getting my knee replacement surgery by Doctor Azam was the best decision I made in my life, and I wish him great success in his mission to cure people of their orthopaedic related problems and feel great again! Lots of gratitude for this amazing Doctor and Human being!!!
