Dr Asmaa Hazim Yasin is a highly experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Prime Hospital. She obtained her medical degree from Mosul University in 1992, giving her nearly 30 years of experience.

In 2013 she completed specialised training with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London, resulting in a membership (MRCOG). Following this she worked as a specialist registration consultant with the General Medical Council in the United Kingdom in 2019, followed by working as a consultant registration with Dubai Health Authority in 2020. Additionally, she holds memberships of the medical council of Australia and New Zealand.

Dr Yasin says that the most memorable moments in her career are when she sees the good outcome of a successful safe pregnancy for Mother and baby. She is passionate about providing high quality care in a safe and comfortable environment.

Her areas of expertise are:

• Expert in treating various high-risk obstetrics cases, different medical disorders during pregnancy, infertility and recurrent miscarriages, instrumental vaginal and caesarean deliveries, general Gynaecological Disorders, post-menopausal problems, laparoscopic treatment to ovarian cysts and masses, vaginal & abdominal hysterectomy, and pelvic repair.
