Dr. Amr Abu Shaqra is a dedicated and detail-oriented GP-Aesthetician with a passion for providing his clients with the best and most up-to-date treatment options. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Capital Medical University in Beijing, China in 2017.

Dr. Abu Shaqra has extensive experience in aesthetic medicine, and is also skilled in evaluating patients for skin care treatments and skin care regimes. He is proficient in diagnosing skin disorders in the ageing population and providing verbal and written information for proper usage of home care products.

He is a certified Aesthetic Medicine specialist with the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine and holds several certificates and diplomas in Advanced Aesthetic Medicine, Anti-Aging Medicine, and Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support for healthcare providers. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr. Abu Shaqra is an Aesthetic Medical Director at Mermaid Clinic in Dubai, where he performs consultations with patients to identify their aesthetic concerns and goals, as well as procedures such as Botox and dermal fillers. He was previously a Team Lead GP for the Sinopharm vaccine clinical trial and conducted research in Phase 3 of the COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial with the Wuhan Institute of Biological Products and Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinopharm.

Dr. Abu Shaqra is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to his patients and has experience in treating patients with chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and other problems. He has worked as a GP in several hospitals and clinics in the UAE and Jordan, and has rotated in general surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency, and anaesthesia specialties.
