Dr Dandawate is a leading Orthopaedic Surgeon in Dubai who believes in cultivating a strong doctor-patient relationship, in addition to his surgical acumen. His extensive experience lends itself to large numbers of happy patients.

Having completed his medical degree (MBBS) from the prestigious GS Medical College, Mumbai, India, Dr Dandawate obtained his post-graduate (M.S.Orth) qualifications from the same institute. He then continued in the same medical college as Lecturer and then as Senior Lecturer till he departed for the UK in 1992. He completed five years of training in reputed hospitals in the UK and obtained his MCh Orth. from Liverpool University. He also did a Fellowship in Spinal Surgery, Oswestry, UK; further adding to his portfolio of medical qualifications and skillset.

Dr Dandawate has 30 years of experience working in India, the UK and the UAE. He was associated with the Mediclinic-Welcare hospital, Dubai since its inception. He established the Orthopaedics Department and served as the Head of Department for Orthopaedics at the Welcare Hospital, Dubai.

Dr Dandawate specialises in performing Orthopaedic procedures such as fracture fixation, spinal surgeries including discectomy and spinal Fixation, arthroscopic surgery for sports injuries involving the knee, shoulder or ankle and joint replacement surgeries for knees and hips.
