UAE Genetic Diseases Association is a nonprofit organization founded in 2004 with the aim to reduce the genetic disease burden, its prevalence and impact, in the UAE. The tools used to achieve this aim include the increase of awareness of the common genetic disorders in the UAE and the region, the empowerment of the community with reliable, credible and easy-to-use information about the common genetic disorders, especially preventable ones. The UAE Genetic Diseases Association performs regular screenings based on research studies and conducted by experts in the field.
